  • Description: Kailasha Residence is a home where colonial grace meets industrial character in a dialogue of quiet contrasts. The design navigates softness and strength with deliberate restraint, creating interiors that feel both composed and expressive.

Duck egg blue wainscoting lines the walls as a gentle nod to timeless colonial tradition, establishing rhythm and proportion within the space. In counterpoint, raw concrete textures introduce an industrial honesty—most notably in the bespoke trophy display wall and integrated bar unit, where materiality becomes both backdrop and statement.

At the heart of the home, a Vietnamese gold foil artwork framed in wood lends warmth and cultural depth, acting as a luminous focal point within the layered palette. Rosewood and leather furniture, detailed with exposed metal bolting, further reinforces the interplay between refinement and ruggedness—heritage balanced with contemporary edge.

The spatial experience unfolds intentionally—from a composed entry sequence to curated focal moments of craft, art, and material expression—each transition revealing a new layer of character.

Designed by Ateliér ASRAYA, Kailasha Residence is a study in equilibrium:
between past and present, ornament and restraint, elegance and boldness.
